Concepts and board columns

What ampm is

ampm takes work from an idea to a reviewed pull request. Agents do the shaping and building, and you approve the decisions that matter in the Inbox.

The two board surfaces

Roadmap is where work is decided, starting with "Roadmap". Factory is the mostly autonomous machine that plans, builds and ships what the roadmap hands it.

Roadmap

Ideas wait here until you promote them. The column header runs "promoting", and Ideas grooming tidies the shelf ("grooming ideas").

Triaging

New work is checked against existing work in "Deduping", then judged in "Admitting".

Refining

Admitted work is shaped in "Refining" and split in "Breaking down". "Researching" is a detour taken only when open questions need research.

Backlog (later)

The someday pool. Its header runs "batching", which plans the next two sprints, and "grooming".

Soon

The sprint after next.

Next

The sprint that rolls in first. "Pull in Next" on "Planning" moves it into the active sprint.

Planning

A pulled sprint lands here: "Planning", then "Reviewing plan".

Implementing

The build: "Ready", "Implementing", "Reviewing code", then "Testing".

Review PR

The pull request is ready for review. "Simulating CI" appears only while CI is simulated.

Landing

"Merging", then "Follow-ups" filed from the build.

Queued

Finished work waits here until the release is approved.

Releasing

Work being released to production.

Done

Finished work. The Done review can dismiss cards from the board.

Your tasks

Work only a person can do: "Your tasks", "Your tasks", "Your tasks".

Parking lot

Work paused on an outside blocker until its re-entry condition is met.

Parents

A task that was split rests here while its pieces carry the work.

Inbox and Activity

The Inbox lists approvals waiting on you. Activity (/<workspace>/timeline?view=everything) shows what agents are running.
